Established in 1972, we have well over 40 years of experience within the scrap and recycling industry. B. Allsop & Sons Ltd is a family business, now involving 3 generations, that continues to succeed in a trade that has seen the majority of businesses disappear over the last 4 decades.

Being able to move with the times, investing in new technology, and diversification into new sectors, have all been key to keeping the business growing whilst others flounder.

Our specialist metal recycling centre is situated on Langar Airfield near to Bingham, Nottinghamshire, making it easy to reach from anywhere in the Midlands, and central to the whole of the UK. Unlike many other sites it also has the advantage of large concrete surfaces with two weighbridges, allowing easy access and fast, efficient turnaround times for the customer.

Offering the best prices, and keeping them constantly up to date with the volatile markets, means we stay competitive with other scrap metal businesses and ensures our customers get a fair trading price on all metals.

Being contracted to many local and nationwide companies, including Local Authorities in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire as well as other agencies in the Midlands, requires our procedures and facilities to be at the highest standard.
